Ir. Phoa Boon Ting, the Director of Asia Pacific Engineering Consortium Sdn Bhd graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Canada. Ir. Phoa started his career in 1982 and as of 2021, 39 years of experience in the civil and structural consultancy industry.

Ir. Phoa is a Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate from the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.  Ir. Phoa has experience in the planning, feasibility studies, design, tender and construction stage of many development projects throughout his career.  Ir. Phoa professional experience include projects comprising condominiums, service apartments, industrial buildings, shopping complexes, hotels, infrastructure and educational institutions.

Ir. Phoa career experience also include international projects in Taiwan, Vietnam & Laos.  Having worked in Taiwan, Ir. Phoa has experience in earthquake design.  This major design expertise includes value engineering, prestressing and post tensioning design, efficient and cost effective structural system design.
